Bessie L. Mackey

Bessie L. Mackey, age 79 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Henryetta Medical Center in Henryetta, Oklahoma. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 8th at Violet Springs Cemetery.  Richard Winters of the Church of Christ in Konawa will officiate. Bessie was born on May 24, 1932 in Maxwell, Oklahoma to A.T. Mackey and Ida (Reed) Mackey.  She is survived by two sisters, Hazel Pope of Palm Dale, California, and Irene McFarland of Seagraves, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.T. and Ida Mackey, five brothers, and two sisters.
