Benny Edgar Rowell

Benny Edgar Rowell, longtime Seminole resident, entered eternal life December 3, 2010 at the age of 57.  He was born to Frank H. and Dora Jo (Lindsay) Rowell on March 20, 1953 in Duncan, Oklahoma. Benny was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Marine Corps.  Benny was a caring individual and he left the Marine Corps to help his parents who owned and operated a convenience  store in Houston, Texas. Benny also was an iron worker. Benny is survived by his mother, Dora Jo Rowell, of the home; several nieces and nephews as well as other family, friends and cousins.  He is predeceased by his father, Frank and two brothers, Frankie and Huey. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
