Benjamin S. Winn, 92, Longtime Seminole resident died, Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Seminole, Oklahoma. Mr. Winn was born December 15, 1915 in Canton, Oklahoma to Clarence A. and Mary Ann (White) Winn. He and his family moved to Seminole in 1930 from Drumright, Oklahoma. He worked for Scott's Well Service for many years as a pulling unit operator and for Version-Cockren Oil Co. as a yard superindentant.rnrnMr. Winn attended Bowlegs Schools and was a longtime member of the Ideal Street Baptist Church in Seminole. Mr. Winn loved fishing and playing the fiddle. He also loved to listen to Blue Grass Music. rnrnMr. Winn, married Ruby Riddle Gentry on July 6, 1939 in Seminole, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on June 11, 2005.rnrnMr. Winn is survived by two daughters Nadine Sneed of Seminole, Oklahoma and Betty Lou Osbin of Kenton, Oklahoma. rnTwo sons, Bill Winn of Mineola, Texas and Clarence Winn and his wife Alta of Paden, Oklahoma. Three sisters Madge Riddle and Colleen Ess of Missouri and Zelda Stewart of Paden, Oklahoma. One brother Wayne Winn of Seminole. Sixteen Grandchildren, twenty-three Great Grandchildren and Five Great Great Grandchildren. rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and seven brothers and three sisters.rnrnFuneral Services are planned for 2:00 P.M.rnSaturday, March 1, 2008 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
