Longtime Seminole resident Benjamin ?Big Ben? Brown passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 66.rnrnHe was born on March 5, 1941 in Wanette, Oklahoma to Cornelious A. and Ellen (Smith) Miller Brown. rnrnHe worked for Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local # 344 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for many years and was a member of the union for 31 years. rnrnHe is survived by two sons: Bennie Brown of Bowlegs and Benjamin Brown, Jr., of McAlester, Oklahoma, adopted son Dwayne Brown of Ada, Oklahoma, adopted daughter Marchetta Hurd of Keota, Oklahoma, two brothers: Leonard Brown of Texas and Delmer Brown of Kansas. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and friends.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter; Angela Dawn Paul, two sisters, Betty Brown, Sally Brown, and Ann Reese and two half brothers, Marion Dodie and Sonny Dodie. rnrnPallbearers will be Ricky Williams, Eddie Loving, Dallas Johnson, Albert Corona, Danny England and Mike Worley.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 10:30AM, Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Manuel Revas officiating.
