Barbara Jean (Johnson) Steinman

Barbara Jean (Johnson) Steinman, age 72 and a resident of Seminole, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at AllianceHealth Hospital in Seminole. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, and Rev. Bill Chesser will officiate.  Pallbearers are Gary Tolson, David Cole, and Billy Waller. Barbara was born September 2, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ralph Willard Johnson and Janet (Murphy) Johnson.  She graduated from Dewey High School before attending college.  She married Charles Thomas Steinman December 21, 1964 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  Barbara worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Department of Public Safety. She is survived by her husband, Charles Steinman of the home; one daughter, Wendy Sparks and husband, Scott of Paoli, Oklahoma; one brother, Andy Johnson, and one sister, Kathryn Lynch of Bartlesville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Janet Johnson; one daughter, Nikki Steinman, and one sister, Patricia Johnson.
