Barbara Lang

Seminole resident Barbara Sue Lang,77, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Integris Seminole Medical Center, in Seminole, Oklahoma. Barbara was born July 5, 1932 in Maud, Oklahoma to Rudy and Clara Pfeiffer. Barbara grew up in Maud, Oklahoma and graduated from Maud High School and in 1950 she moved to Seminole. Barbara married  J.W. “ Tooter” Lang on February 19, 1953 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Together they operated Lang Tank Service which they started in 1947. Barbara served as the bookkeeper for the company. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Seminole. She was also a longtime member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kelly L. and Jerry Martin of Seminole, Oklahoma. Two brothers and sister-in-law’s Rod and Belinda Pfeiffer of Pryor, Oklahoma and Rudy and Mary Pfeiffer of Arkansas. Two grandchildren Jace Martin and Jaxson Martin and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Graveside services are planned for 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole.
