Barbara Knight

Barbara Nell (Cotton) Knight, 70 year-old, longtime Seminole resident passed from this life Monday, December 31, 2007 at Seminole Integris Medical Center. She was born May 22, 1937 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Loren Cotton and Wilda (Odgen) Cotton. She graduated from Seminole High School and married Jack Edward Knight on October 15, 1960 in Enid, Oklahoma, they had lived in Seminole most of the time with the exception of living in Mineral Wells, Texas for 17 years. She was of the Baptist Faith.rnrnBarbara loved to play Bingo and was always willing to take care of family members who were ill.rnrnSurvivors include one son, Billy Joe Knight of Seminole, Oklahoma. Three daughters, Jackie Lynn Knight of Seminole, Oklahoma, Edie Lorena Mayeux of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Pamala and her husband Bryan Sieben of Sour Lake, Texas. Three sisters, Ella Floyd of Edmond, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Sargent of Saginaw, Michigan and Wanda Cotton of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Tara Foutz, Joe Foutz, Loren Mayeux, Shea Mayeux, Christian Adams, Keith Sieben, Daren Sieben and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and dear friends.rnrnBarbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband (April 20, 1992) and by four brothers, Sonny Cotton, Gary Cotton, Joe Cotton and Robert Cotton.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2008 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.rnrnCasket bearers will be; Jacob Brauning, Jedidiah Brauning, Keith Sieben, Daren Sieben, Joe Foutz and Norm Jackson.rnrnHonorary bearers will be; Loren Mayeux, Shea Mayeux and Christian Adams. rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home ?
