Ava Marie White, a Livingston, Texas resident passed away April 14, 2008 in Livingston, Texas as the age of 97.rnrnMrs White was born September 3, 1910 to parents; John Aaron and Anna Florence Moore Parsons in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. She was raised mostly around Shawnee and Seminole areas where she helped her family by working on the farm.rnrnMarie loved fishing with her dad, playing Canasta, Mexican Train, 88, and being with family. She was a fantastic pie baker. Prior to retirement she and Mr. White enjoyed square-dancing together. She always lived to make a good home for her family and never worked outside of her home.rnrnMarie and Ann decided to combine households in 1991 due to the fact that both were widows. They lived in De Soto, Texas until Ann retired in 1997, at which time they moved to Indian Hills on Lake Livingston.rnrnMarie is survived by her daughter and husband, Ona Kathryn (Kathy) and Bob Dale of Livingston, Texas, and a daughter, Ava Ann Burton of Livingston, Texas. rnHer grandchildren, David Dale of Gray, L.A.rnWesley Dale and wife Nancy of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Lance Burton and Wife Linda of Aledo, Texas, son, Cris Barton and wife Gwen of Ft. Worth, Texas. Great Grandchildren, Lauren, Leslie, Alice, Bobby.rnrnMarie was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Willie, Laura, Beulah, Pearl, Ralph and InezrnrnMarie met David Onan White in a small community north of Seminole, Oklahoma, in 1933. They were married July 3, 1933.
