Ava Luna Sanders

Ava Luna Sanders, four ½ month old daughter of Desirea Fontenot and Van Wyatt Sanders, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born September 27, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her parents were former Seminole residents. She is remembered as always smiling, enjoying being outside, playing and laughing at her brother Adrian. She was a little social butterfly. She brought so much joy to her family and will be missed dearly. She is survived by her mom and dad, Van Sanders and Desirea Fontenot of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and one brother Adrian Sanders of Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her great grandmothers, Lois Carpitcher Adachi and Alma Sanders. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma, with a burial following at the Peter Tiger Cemetery east of Seminole. Dinner will be served for the family and friends after the funeral service promptly at 6 P.M. at Mayfair Heights Methodist Church, 3131 NW 50th, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Armando Soto, Jonathan De Leon, Nicholas Carter, Donovan Estrada. Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma is in charge of arrangements.
