Ava Frances Dunson

Ava Frances (Williams) Dunson born to Ernest and Mary Williams, passed from this life on Monday, November 4, 2014 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was a lifelong Seminole resident. Ava was born March 12, 1951 in Talihina, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Thlopthlocco United Methodist Church and the Thlopthlocco United Methodist Women. She married Gary Dunson on February 23, 1973 in Okemah, Oklahoma. They had two children John Charles Dunson of the home and Misty Erin Dunson of Seminole, Oklahoma. She is also survived by seven sisters Marcella McKane, Evita Williams, Doris Boone, Bonita Williams, Regina Williams, Jolanda Williams and Lahoma Calvert all of Seminole, Oklahoma, one brother Gerald Williams of Seminole, three grandchildren Katcv Polhemann, Fayv Polhemann and Shaianne Polhemann, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Tony Ray Williams and Roy Chon Williams. Casket bearers will be Gerald Williams, Jarod Williams, Steven Ponkilla, Nick Kelley, Stacy Haney, Tracy Haney, Justin Boone, Walker Williams and Willie Yargee. Honorary bearers will be the Thlopthlocco United Methodist Women. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Hitchitee United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.  Wake services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Mrs. Dunson will be taken to the Hitchitee United Methodist Church on Friday, for a 6:00 p.m. wake service there on Friday evening. Clarence Yarholar and David Little will officiate at the service.
