Austin James Guthrie

Austin James Guthrie, 19, Seminole resident, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Austin was born May 26, 1997 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Shelly J. ( Heffley) Wood and Cameron Wood. Austin had attended Seminole Public Schools, loved playing video games, music, working on his car and electronics. He is survived by his parents Shelly and Cameron Wood, grandparents, David and Gloria Guthrie and Ronnie Heffley, his brothers Joe Wood and Justin Guthrie, two sisters Sandra Wood and Patience Wood, great aunt Brenda Griffith and aunt and uncle Niki and Jacob Caudell, numerous cousins and his close friends Corbin Almon and Caiden Cain. He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Thelma and Joe Griffith,  great aunt Sharon Wood, cousin Kaden Wood and great uncle Jerry Beaird. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 12, 2016, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole. Casket bearers will be: Justin Guthrie, Jacob Caudell, Stephen Neill, Jeffrey Richardson, Jr., Trent Walkup and Danny Wood.
