Arvie Branch

Arvie Dewayne Branch, 51 Arvie Branch, Pratt, Kansas resident  passed away Monday, August 23, 2010 at Pratt Regional Medical Center of Pratt, Kansas. Arvie was born February 4, 1959 to parents George and Margarett (Ross) Branch in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Arvie grew up in Red Oak, Oklahoma and graduated from the Red Oak School district. Arvie worked as a machine operator at Quality Laundry and Dry Cleaning of Pratt, Kansas. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church of Red Oak, Oklahoma. Arvie is survived by four sons; Charlie Branch, Christopher Branch, Adam Branch and Derrick Branch all of Arkansas. He is also survived by five sisters; Linda Mummery and her husband Terry of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Judy Helsel and her husband Marvin of Pratt, Kansas, Connie Long of Arkansas, Paula Branch of Stigler, Oklahoma and Marilyn Whitfield and her husband Carl of Seminole, Oklahoma. Arvie is also survive by one granddaughter; Hannah Marie of Arkansas and a host of nieces and nephews. Arvie was preceded in death by his parents; George and Margarett “Maggie” Branch, brother, Ronnie Branch, sisters, Margarett Eagens, Louetta Brown and MaDonna Roop. Graveside funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, August27, 2010 at Leflore, Oklahoma with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
