Arvel Snow

Arvel Lee Snow, Jr., longtime Konawa area resident, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at his residence outside of Konawa at the age of 57. He was born on June 4, 1949 in Oklahoma City to Arvel Lee Snow, Sr. and Martha Mae (Davis). He married Frances (Barber) on June 13, 1968 in Oklahoma City. Arvel was a truck driver for Wrangler (VF Jeanswear) in Seminole for many years and retired from there in 2004. rnHe is survived by his wife Frances (Barber) Snow of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Arvel Snow, III and his wife Serena and Timothy Snow and his wife Keri, all of Konawa; one sister, Barbara Barksdale of Allen, OK and six grandchildren, Dillon Snow, Zachery Snow, Brooke Corcoran, Katie Snow, Abbi Snow and Sandra McClain and his mother-in-law, Mary Barber.rnHe was preceded in death by his parents.rnFuneral services will be on Friday, December 8, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa.
