Artie Annie (Reames) Maxwell longtime Seminole County resident passed from this life Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born July 26, 1920 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to parents William T. and Nevada ?Vada? (Lane) Reames.rnrnArtie married Lonnie E. Maxwell on November 2, 1936 in Konawa, Oklahoma. Artie was a homemaker and lived in and around Konawa for many years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Konawa. She moved to Seminole in 2001 after the death of her husband in May of 2001.rnrnSurvivors include three daughters; Kathleen Parks of Seminole, Evyleen Lemmings of Konawa and Dorothy Staring of Wewoka; four sons, Bobby Joe Maxwell of Harrah, Loyd Maxwell of Konawa and J.L. Maxwell of Seminole and Edward Lee Maxwell of Konawa; three brothers, G.W. Reames of Washington, Edgar Reames of California and Vernon Reames of Idaho; 28 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and 14 great great-grandchildren.rnrnArtie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, Jesse Reames and Gene Reames; two sisters, Ruby Alkire and Effie Shipley; two children, Roy Dean Maxwell and Aline Bernice Dyer and three grandchildren, Dosha Reed, Terry Lemmings and Randy Maxwell.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Konawa Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery with Rev. Wesley Martin officiating and Rev.
