Arthur Tebe

Arthur Tebe, age 49 and a life-long resident of Sasakwa, Oklahoma passed away January 1, 2020 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. A wake service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Sasakwa.  He will be taken to the church at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, and funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2020 at the church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Jimsey Harjo will officiate, and burial will follow at the Tebe Family Cemetery.  Casket bearers are Allen Yahola, Jacob Tebe, Steven Tebe, Chance Harjo, Leo Moppin, and Vinceta Aguilera.  Honorary bearers are Joshua Hunter, Phillip Howard, William Haynes, and Austin Tiger. Arthur was born October 23, 1970 in Oklahoma City to Phillip Harjo and Lucy (Tebe) Harjo.  He was a self-employed roofer and carpenter who was raised in church and loved his children very much. He is survived by two sons, Bradley Tebe of Holdenville, Oklahoma, and Keaton Hobia of Seminole, Oklahoma; one brother, Anthony Harjo of Holdenville; and one sister, Phyllis Yahola of Sasakwa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Lucy Harjo; and one sister, Arlene Harjo. He will be taken to the church at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, and funeral services will be held at the church Monday under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa located at 200 S.
