Arthur Lee Harris, Jr. 62 year-old longtime Earlsboro resident passed from this life Monday, March 2, 2009 at O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was born June 4, 1946 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma to parents Arthur Lee Harris and Elizabeth ?Lizzie? Mae Frances (Miller) Harris.rnrnMr. Harris was currently living in Spencer, Oklahoma where he was a member of the Israel Chapel and worked as a chef at Willow View Hospital in Spencer. Prior to him moving to Spencer he worked as a chef at the Biscuit Hill Restaurant in Earlsboro for many years.rnrnSurvivors include two sisters, Anna Yarbrough of Earlsboro, Oklahoma and Idea Wisemen of Holly Springs, Mississippi; one sister-in-law, ElMyra Harris of Spencer, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends.rnrnHarris is preceded in death by his parents; and by siblings, Roger L. Harris, Sr., Lucy Mae Harris, Edward Harris, Eurlene Talton, Victoria Harris, Margriette Harris and Leroy Harris.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Israel Chapel, located at N.E. 38th and Adair in Spencer, Oklahoma. Elder Richard C. Laskey, Rev. James Grayson, Rev. Charles Wyatt, Jr. and Rev. Barry Harris will officiate the service.
