Arrie Lee Effinger, Jr.

Arrie Lee Effinger, Jr., age 64, passed away November 4, 2020 at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was born October 23, 1956 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents Arrie Lee Effinger and Melba Jane (Kilgore) Effinger. Arrie was a high school graduate and was self-employed as a maintenance worker and carpet layer. Arrie served his country in the United States Army and attained the rank of SP4. He received several honors while in the Army including; National Defense Service Medal, Expert (Rifle M-16A1) and Sharpshooter (Hand Grenade).

Arrie is survived by his sisters; Connie (Effinger) Richards and half-sisters; Dana Lindsey and her husband Johnathan Craig Lindsey and Perry Jane Pearce. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister; Casey Lee Kifer, his brother-in-law; Wade Kifer and his great nephew; Zander Herron.

The family will have a memorial service with Military Honors for Arrie at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2020 at the family home at 36181 EW 1247 in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
