Arlene Onis Harjo, age 34 and a resident of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009, at the Seminole Estates Rehab Center in Seminole, Oklahoma. Arlene was born on August 24, 1974, in Seminole, Oklahoma, to Philip Harjo and Lucy (Tebe) Harjo.rnrnA wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9th at the Cedar Creek Eufaula Baptist Church north of Konawa, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10th, at the church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa. Burial will follow at the Tebe Family Cemetery in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. David Dunson and Newman Crow will officiate. Pallbearers are Jacob Tebe, Steven Tebe, Leo Moppin, Jr., Michael Wood, Danny Harjo, and Donald Dorsey. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Dorsey, Victor Harjo, Keith Williamson, Joseph Tebe, Daniel Tanyan, and James Harjo, Jr. Visitation is located at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.rnrnShe is survived by her parents, Lucy Harjo of the home and Philip Harjo of Norman, Oklahoma; two brothers, Arthur Tebe of Sasakwa, and Anthony Harjo of Seminole; and one sister, Phyllis Yahola of Sasakwa; two uncles, Vernon Tebe of Konawa, and James Harjo of Kansas; four aunts, Geraldine Dunn of Shawnee, Mary Charlene Wood of Shawnee, Retna Harjo of Shawnee, and Joann Tebe of Konawa; seven nieces, Amber, Summer, Lacey, Katie, Megan, Mokayla, Mariah; and four nephews, Allen, Bradley, Keaton, and Michael.rnrnShe is preceded in death by one aunt, Viola Tebe; and seven uncles, Paul, Jimmy, Bobby, and Benny, and Lloyd Tebe, Henry and Johnny Harjo. rn Funeral Information: April 9, 2009, 2:00 AM
