Arch Taylor, Jr., 81, of Shawnee, Oklahoma died March 6, 2011 at Unity Health Center (North) in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Arch was born October 18, 1929 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma to Arch Franklin and Lucy Lorene (Bozarth) Taylor. Arch worked as a pole truck operator for a highline wire company for many years, retiring in 1993. He graduated from Shawnee High School. For sometime he had lived in Gainesville, Texas. He loved to fish for catfish and drive country roads with Juanita and spending time with her. Arch was a member of the Northeast Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Taylor is survived by his spouse Juanita Dees of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Son and daughter-in-law William and Agnes Zellers of Checotah, Oklahoma, Ricky and Loretta Keys of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Daughters and son-in-laws, Nell and Hughy Pate of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Juanita and Frank Rivas of Shawnee, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his grandchildren Harold Archie Taylor, Jr., Paul Dewayne Jordan Chris Hale, Stacy Zellers, Erin Zellers, Pam Loman, Paula Pate , Wesley Howell, Josh and Jessie Keys and Charlene Pierce. Great-grandchildren Maycie Jordan Madeline Jordan and Kaylee Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Harold Archie Taylor, Sr. and one brother Jesse Taylor. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on March 8, 2011 at the Tecumseh City Cemetery in Tecumseh, Oklahoma with Rev. William Zellers officiating. Casket bearers will be Hughy Pate, Rick Keys, Chris Hale, Paul Jordan and Butch Taylor. Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma is in Charge of arrangements.
