Anthony Harper

Anthony “Tony” Frank Harper, age 54 passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010, at his residence in Concord, North Carolina. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma.  Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.  Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate.  Pallbearers are Gary Harper, Randall Pratt, Christopher Wilkinson, Nathan Wilkinson, Anthony Harper, and Bradley Harper. Tony was born on August 25, 1955, in Edmond, Oklahoma, to Joyce (Gilbert) and Andrew Jay Harper.  He married Angela Kay Runyon on July 18, 1998, in Boone, North Carolina.  He was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Concord, North Carolina, and he owned his own construction business. He is survived by his wife, Angela Kay (Runyon) Harper of the home; his mother, Joyce Gilbert Harper of Choctaw, Oklahoma; four sons, Anthony Harper, Bradley Harper, and Nathan Wilkinson – all of Concord, North Carolina, and Christopher Wilkinson and wife, Lisa of Burlington, North Carolina; and one brother, Gary Harper of Choctaw, Oklahoma.
