Anthony “Tony” Vernell Conley, Jr., a resident of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Saturday, April 18, 2020, one day after his thirty-fifth birthday, in Seminole, Oklahoma. Anthony was born on April 17, 1985, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Anthony Vernell Conley, Sr. and LaRhonda DeShown (Rowles) Conley. Anthony lived in Seminole, until the age of five and attended New Lima Elementary School. He then moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma where he attended and graduated from Willowbrook Elementary School. During junior high, Tony attended and graduated from Kerr Middle School in Del City. He proceeded forward with his education, graduating from Sasakwa High School where he played football and basketball. Aside from sports, Tony loved music. He attended Rose State College where he studied Music Production. In his passion, “Big Chief” founded Mid Dub Records, establishing the Mid Dub Rydaz. More than music, Tony was a loving Father. Tony and Cruisanna Robertson had three wonderful children;Baily, Blake and Trey. Tony spent his 20’s raising his children. In 2015 Tony and Vicky Holata welcomed Antonio into the world. He then moved back to Seminole where lived until his death. He enjoyed playing video games, playing dominoes, and rapping with his brothers and cousins and making music. Anthony is survived by his parents, LaRhonda (Rowles) Conley and Anthony Vernell Conley, Sr. of Seminole, Oklahoma, his grandparents;Wallace E. Rowles, Jr of Los Angeles, California and Sandra J. Grant of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one daughter, Bailey Conley, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, three sons, Blake and Anthony V. Conley, III, of Midwest City, and Antonio Conley, of Seminole, Oklahoma. Anthony is also survived by four brothers, Michael, Kamrin, and Kayvon Conely, and Amauyn Rowles-Conley, all of Seminole, Oklahoma, his aunts; Vickie Carter, Tammy Andrews, Kristi Patrick, Ciana Thompkins and Stephanie Rowles Farmer, uncles; Shane, Austin and George Conley, Gante Greene and Ducate’Gross, two nieces and two nephews and a host of cousins and friends. Anthony was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Conley, grandmother, Florene Carolina, great grandmothers, Amanda Grant and Ursla Rowles, great grandfathers, Cornelius Grant and Wallace E. Rowles, Sr., Anthony’s godmother, Amanda Streeter, and aunts; Diane Carter and Charlene and Mary Grant and great-aunt Al-Theda Briley. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 a.m., Friday, May 1, 2020 at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Nita Moreland and J.C. Simpson officiating. Casket bearers will be Michael Conley, Kamrin Conley, Kayvon Conley,and Amauyn Rowles-Conley. Serving as honorary bearers will be, J.J. Andrews, Todd Campbell, Kevin Andrews, Mac Ladd, Isiah Conley, Ducate’ Gross and Curtis Andrews. Due to the state mandates with the Covid 19 virus, graveside services are limited to no more than 10 people in attendance, with social distancing. The services will be live streamed on the Swearingen Funeral Home Facebook page, for those unable to attend the graveside services.
