Anthony Chesser, 34, passed peacefully on May 24, 2015 after a decade-long battle with depression. He will always be remembered for his strength and fortitude, and loved ones may now take comfort in knowing he is finally at rest without pain. Though Anthony's passing is tragic and heartbreaking, his legacy endures and is defined not by his death, but by his fearless and purposeful life. Anthony was the embodiment of selflessness, sincere generosity, unconditional and indiscriminate love, and known for being an uncompromising advocate and champion for equality. Those closest to Anthony may delight in knowing that he lived life more fully, passionately, courageously, benevolently, and consciously than most. Anthony's spirit lives on in the countless lives graced by his touch and in the indelible memories lovingly shared by those left behind. Anthony was an avid car enthusiast, able to tell you every detail about any car on the road. Anthony marveled in gadgets and all his friends knew to ask him before buying the latest technology. Anthony also loved sweets, which he vigorously worked off in the gym. Anthony is survived by his loving partner Lee Bailey; his mother Bonnie Chesser; his brothers Shannon Haggard, Ricky Chesser, and Rusty Chesser; his sister Charletta Chong-sang; his sons Jacob and Tyler Chesser, who - not by choice - were physically absent, but were in his heart until the end.; and countless devoted friends.
