Annie Fixico, 83, longtime Seminole resident, died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at her home in Seminole. rnrnMrs. Fixico was born February 5, 1925 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Wesley and Jowina (Tiger) Harjo. She had lived in Seminole for over 55 years moving from Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the New Tulsa Ceremonial Grounds.rnrnMrs. Fixico was married to Joe Fixico on February 27, 1942 in Wewoka, Oklahoma, he preceded her in death on September 7, 1985.rnrnShe is survived by 2 sons: Jeff Fixico of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Talova Fixico of Seminole, Oklahoma. Six daughters:Nancy Lowe of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Maleah Drapeau of Ada, Oklahoma, Madeline Tiger, Jennie Fixico, Betty Fixico and Tracy Rogers all of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnSixteen Grandchildren and Twelve rnGrandchildren.rnrnShe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers, Robert Leetka, Rex Harjo, J. D. Harjo and a grandaughter, Marissa Tiger.rnrnServices are planned for Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the Mekusukey Mission Gymnasium at 2:00 P.M., with Brother Dave Bowlegs and burial at the Harjo family cemetery just west of the mission. Wake services are planned Monday night at the home. Mrs. Fixico will be taken to her home, Tuesday at 3:00 P.M. and then to the Gymnasium on Wednesday.rnrnCasket bearers will be Mike Lowe, Leo Tiger, Joe Fixico, Dylan Fixico, Randall Lowe, Devan Fixico, Garrett Drapeau and Pvto Rogers.
