Anna Rene (Harris) Yarbrough

Anna Rene ( Harris) Yarbrough, 72, Shawnee, Oklahoma resident died at her home on January 19, 2011. She was born in Earlsboro, Oklahoma on August 21, 1938 to Arthur Lee Harris, Sr. and Elizabeth (Miller) Harris. She was a retired Teaching Assistant from the San Diego, California School district. She was a longtime member of the Ware Chapel C.M.E. Methodist Church in Earlsboro, Oklahoma. She was Married to Ted Yarbrough  July of 1975  in San Diego, California and he preceded her in death in August 18, 1981. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Barry and Terri Harris of San Diego, California and a daughter Linda Harris of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is also survived by a sister Ida Wiseman of Holy Springs, MS. Six grandchildren also survive her, Lamar Harris, Barry Harris, Jr., Tyrin Harris, Keith Jones, Kendall Harris and Jessica Harris.  Also by eight great grandchildren Shawntiana Harris Smith, Herman Jones, Sydni Harris, Lela Harris, Langston Harris, Sterling Harris, Jurnee Jones, Jariah Harris. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lizzie and Arthur Harris, Her brothers, Edward Harris, Roger Harris, Sr., Arthur Harris, Jr. and sisters Euralene Talton, Lucy Mae Harris and Victoria Harris. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Wesley Methodist Church at 302 E. Independence St, in Shawnee, Oklahoma with burial in the Earlsboro Cemetery.
