Anna Belle Moyer

Anna Belle Moyer Longtime Seminole resident Anna Belle Moyer passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 85.  She was born on March 1, 1925 in Stroud, Oklahoma to Durl William Anthony and Mabel Belle (Wicker) Anthony. Anna Belle married Neal A. Moyer on December 24, 1941. Anna Belle owned and operated her own knitting shop in Seminole for many years, she also worked for Nova Carpets and Color Center with her husband and worked as a clerk at Stanfill Drug.  She loved playing golf, camping out and knitting.   She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters-in-law: Andi and Judi Moyer of Seminole and Sydney Carlin of Manhattan, Kansas, six grandchildren, Brandon Moyer and wife Courtney of Seminole, Pat Lee and wife  Lisa of Seminole, Russell Moyer and wife Chandy of Cushing, Oklahoma, Bobby Lee of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Blaine Carlin and Marci of Omaha, Nebraska and Becky Carlin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She is also survived by a special friend Mary Kay Westphal of Seminole, Oklahoma. She is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Neal A. Moyer on January 15, 1999,  her father Durl W. Anthony on December 5, 1973, mother Mabee Anthony on August 20, 1996, two sons, Neal R. “Dick” Moyer on December 11, 1995 and Larry Moyer on July 4, 2010 and one grandson J.T. Moyer on January 27, 1992 and a brother.  Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M., Monday, August 30, 2010 at the Historic Strother Chapel with Russell Vicars officiating.  Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Brandon Moyer, Jake Moyer, Russell Moyer, Bobby Lee, Pat Lee and Blaine Carlin.
