Angel Rachelle Harjo, 23, lifelong Seminole County resident. Angel was born March 5, 1992 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Angel attended and graduated from Strothers High School and she was a member of North Rock Creek Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Angel is survived by her mother Pamela D’Ann Underwood of Konawa, father Raymond Harjo,Sr., one brother Raymond Harjo, Jr. of Seminole, Oklahoma, five sisters Angelina Yahola, Stephanie Yahola and Eliza Harjo all of Seminole, Wythema Porras of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Stephanie Harjo of Bowlegs, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Nagie Underwood and Tecumseh Underwood, Sr. and Mary Jane and Johnson Harjo. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at the Underwood/Harjo Family cemetery east of Little, with Abraham Jackson and Ted Underwood officiating. Angel will be taken to the Seminole Nation Community Center, east of Strothers School, where there will be a wake service on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. Casket Bearers will be Honece Pipestem, Cha-Chio Pipestem, William Pipestem, Ronnie Harjo, Christopher Pipestem, and Curtis Gentry. Honorary bearers will be Johnathan Walker, Travis Hunter, Sonny White Buffalo, Jerome Isham, John Underwood and Nathan Harjo.
