Alma Jean ?Hokte? (Wood) Washington passed away on March 1, 2009 at her home. rnrnShe was born on May 23, 1932 in Seminole, Oklahoma to John and Amanda (Factor) Wood. rnrnShe was a home health aide and a former beauty operator. She is a member of High Spring Baptist Church. rnrnShe is survived by her son, Eddie Holland of Tecumseh and three daughters, Remona Stubbs of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, Amanda Holland of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Cassandra Knox of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, four brothers; Virgil Wood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Matthew Wood of Seminole, Oklahoma, Wallace and Carol Wood of Lawton, Oklahoma and Donald and Christine Wood of Shawnee, Oklahoma and one sister, Barbara and George Washington of Seminole, Oklahoma. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents, John and Amanda (Factor) Wood, sister, Mary Mills and brother, Don Palmer. rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at High Spring Baptist Church with Frank Moppin, Tim Harjo and Dorsey Nero officiating. Interment will follow at Wolf Cemetery, Wolf, Oklahoma. rnrnPallbearers will be: Tim Wood, Johnny Knox, Jonathan Lopez, Johnny Ray Wood, Tv?stvne K?ke Woodward, and John Shaw. rnHonorary Bearers will be George Washington, Steven Boren, Rod Washington, Kyle Schroeder, Jack Satawake and Thomas Applegate. rnrn Funeral Information: March 3, 2009, 2:00 AM
