Alma Lucille (Wilhelm) House, 95 year old Avondale, Colorado resident and former Seminole County, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in Crowley County, Colorado. She was born December 13, 1920 in Scottsboro, Alabama to parents, Thomas Jefferson “T.J.” Wilhelm and Willie “Mae” (Roach) Wilhelm. On February 23, 1938 Alma married William Columbus House in Seminole, Oklahoma. Alma lived in Seminole County for 74 years where she was a member of the Wolf Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and was very devoted to her family. Alma is survived by three daughters, Patricia A. Fowler of Avondale, Colorado, Virginia A. Reekie of Livingston, Alabama and by Linda D. Jackson of Waurika, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and by a host of other dear family and friends. Alma was preceded in death by her parents, T.J. and Mae (Roach) Wilhelm, by her husband, William C. House who died April 15, 1985, and by one son, Pete E. House who died December 20, 2011. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Wolf Cemetery with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating the service.
