Allan Kenneth Mahler, 61 year-old, Seminole, Oklahoma resident was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Seminole Intgris Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He survived brain cancer in 1991. He was born March 11, 1949 in Rochester, Indiana to parents Harold Melvin Mahler and Norma Elaine (Thompson) Mahler. Allan was named the Valedictorian of the 1967 graduating class of Monterey High School, Monterey, Indiana. Allan earned his Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose Polytechnic Institute (now Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology) Terre Haute, IN and served in the United States Army Reserve with ranking of 1st Lt. as a Mechanical Engineer. He was a member of the THETA XI KAPPA Chapter. He was a member of the A.S.M.E. (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). Allan married Ann (Wallace) Conatser on January 2, 1999 at the Freewill Baptist Church in Prague, Oklahoma. The couple has been active members of the First Church of God in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Ann Conatser Mahler of the home; mother, Norma Elaine (Thompson) Mahler of Plymouth, IN; one daughter, Christina Elaine Mahler and partner, Karen Pease of Iowa City, Iowa; one step-son, Clifton Conatser and partner, Aaron Siria of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Sherri Conatser and fiancé, Ishawn New of Seminole, Oklahoma; one brother, Melvin Richard Mahler and wife Carole of Plymouth, Indiana; one sister, Catherine Bernice Ruhling and husband Bill of Amber, Pennsylvania; Sister in law, Sharan Wallace Bryant and Brother in law, Allen Wallace and wife Sherry of McAlester, Oklahoma; two step-grandchildren, Kena Rhoten and Mason Seeley; two step-great-grandchildren, Kamari Rhoten-Hill and Emree Rhoten-Hill; and a host of other family and dear friends.
