Alisha Marie White, 26 year old of Cookson, Oklahoma was called from this life Sunday, June 19, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was born July 12, 1989 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents, Lucretia McGirt White and Cameron Lynn White. Alisha attended Keys Public Schools graduating from Keys High School in 2008. She was a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. She met the love of her life, Jonathan Swepston, shortly after graduating high school. She loved to read, spoiling her beloved niece, Henlee and caring for her cat, Gabby. Survivors include her fiancé, Johnathan Swepston of Cookson, Oklahoma; her parents, Lucretia McGirt White and Cameron White of Norman, Oklahoma; two brothers, Jarred White (Nancy Reese) and niece Henlee, brother, Cameron White, Jr. all of Norman, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother, Reba Flute and her husband Gene of Apache, Oklahoma; maternal grandfather, Jimcy McGirt of Helena, Oklahoma; paternal grandfather, Anthony White of Jones, Oklahoma; by an uncle Brandon White (Kim Thompson) of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Chris and Nora Factor of McAlester, Oklahoma, Michelle Factor (Brian Liebe) of Wisconsin, Steve McGirt (Lynn Paige) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Montague McGirt (Rachel Foster) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Derek Ponkilla (Victoria Escobar) of Mangum, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Alisha was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Virginia Deatherage. The body will be taken to Hitchitee Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 for a wake service Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, June24, 2016 at Hitchitee Methodist Church located 5 miles east of Little Cemetery on Hwy, 99 A then 1/4 mile north. Danny Faulkner will officiate the service. Interment will follow at the Hitchitee Church Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be: Brandon Farber, Lance Farber, Blaine Harjo, Christopher Factor, Branden White, and Fred White. Honorary Bearers will be: Kevin Swepston, Danny Swepston, Donnie O'Neal, Steven McGirt, Derek Ponkilla, and Montogue McGirt.
