Alicia Kay Floyd, 41, of Mustang unexpectedly passed away September 24th, 2017, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Alicia Kay was born September 4th, 1976, in Memphis, Tennessee, to John and Carla (Magee) Marshall.  Alicia graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1995 and quickly set out on her life’s journey to begin her working life. This included several years as a supervisor at the Oklahoma City County Jail, time at Chesapeake Energy in Oklahoma City and as an office manager at the Softball Players Association in Mustang, Oklahoma, at the time of her death.  Family, close friends, Jayden Lynn and Oklahoma State football were Alicia Kay’s most loving and delightful passions.  Camping, fishing, caring for her puppies and softball were also highlights of her life.  She possessed a contagious laugh and a knowing smile which warmed many hearts over her short time on this Earth.  Forever loyal and true, she was one of God’s most-gracious servants and her love and impact will be lasting. She is survived by her parents: Johnny and Carla Griffin of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, John W. and Sherry Marshall of Guthrie, Oklahoma; the light of her life, her daughter Jayden Lynn Floyd of Mustang, Oklahoma, two brothers Tommy Dayton Griffin of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Aaron Matthew Griffin of Ada, Oklahoma, one sister Andrea Kathleen Marshall of Las Vegas, Nevada; nephews Nolan Mulford of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Dayton James Griffin of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and a niece Marigrace Griffin of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma with Tommy Azlin officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Aaron Griffin, Kelly Griffin, David Marshall, Dusty Marshall, Sam Coleman and Barry Cordell. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
