Alice Marie (Fuqua) Poplin, 81 year-old former Seminole resident passed from this life Saturday, September 13, 2008 in Bella Vista, Arkansas. She was born September 23, 1926 in Alex, Arkansas to parents Lee John Fuqua and Eunice Jewel (Morris) Fuqua.rnrnShe married Jack Poplin on September 1, 1963 in Seminole, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1995.rnrnSurvivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Marsha Poplin of Seminole, Oklahoma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Jim Williams of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Cynthia and Rick Gaboury of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Billie Jeanne Fuqua of Arlington, Texas; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.rnrnMrs. Poplin is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Poplin (1995) and by one daughter Barbara Clarke (2007).rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.
