Seminole resident Alice L. Mathews passed away on September 6, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 62.rnrnShe was born on August 17, 1945 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Fisher and Emma (Bear) Noon. rnrnShe was a homemaker and a member of the Snake Creek Baptist Church in Seminole. She married Jerry L. Mathews on June 21, 1980 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers and sister.rnrnShe is survived by her husband, Jerry Mathews of the home, three sons: Yul Kirk Whitson of Calera, Oklahoma, Gary Whitson of Ada, Oklahoma, and Spirit Sires of Pottsboro, Texas, three brothers: Porter Bear of Seminole, Oklaoma, Ron Bear of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Wallie Bear of Shawnee, Oklahoma and two sisters: Nora Lefthand of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Dora Haney of Shawnee, Oklahoma. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many other family and friends.rnServices under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
