Funeral Services for Alford Spencer will be Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 2:00pm at the Victory Baptist Church in Maud with Rev. Tim Harjo officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.rnrnFormer Seminole resident Alford Spencer passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Colonial Estates Nursing Home in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 75. rnrnHe was born on September 22, 1932 in Castle, Oklahoma to Billy and Willie Mae (Johnson) Spencer. He married Lorene (McGirt) Spencer, she preceded him in death. He was a pipeline worker for many years and was of the Baptist Faith. rnrnHe is survived by two brothers: Jimmie Spencer of Midwest City, Oklahoma and John Smith of Seminole, a special niece Becky McBroom and Nephew Jeremy Long. He is also survived by a host of other nieces, nephews and other family and friends.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers: James Spencer and Benny Smith and one sister: Daisy Lorene Sandfur. rnrnPallbearers will be: Corky Snodgrass, Jeremy Long, Chris Watkins, Brandon Smith, Brandon Sandfur, and Michael Sheppard.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home. 100 W.
