Alexandria A. George

September 3, 1923 — March 26, 2012

Alexandria A. George, age 88 and a former resident of Seminole County and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Unity North Health Center in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  Memorial services will be planned at a later date.  Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa, Oklahoma. Alexandria was born in Danvers, MA to James George and Efrosini (Metros) George on September 3, 1923.  She was an avid bowler, and she worked as a Jet Engine Machinist in the Aero Space industry. She is survived by her special friend, Ruby M. Byford of the home; one brother, Ernie George and wife, Ilene; one sister-in-law, Barbara George of MA; many nieces and nephews; and friends, Maudie and Kenneth Howard of Asher. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Efrosini George; one sister, Sophie Allen; and seven brothers, George, Louis, Charles, William, Arthur, Evangelos, and Spero George.
