Albert Neal “ Boots” Williams, 82, died Saturday, March 24, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born February 3, 1931, in Seminole, Oklahoma to Samuel N. and Luella (Cole) Williams. Boots lived his entire life in Seminole with the exception of his 20 years spent in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1970; during his service time, he was an aircraft mechanic and won awards many times for being the best mechanic on the base. After his military service, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for many years. He had attended and graduated from Pleasant Grove School in 1949. He was a member of the Non-Commissioned Officers Association. Boots loved to hunt and fish, his time in the military, and being with his family and friends. His sister Betty Posey of Seminole, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews, survive Boots. His parents, his wife Tukiko Fujii, preceded him in death; they were married July 3, 1965 in Sapporo, Japan, She died in December of 2004. He is also preceded in death by a sister Patricia Landreth, and brothers Lt. Roy E. Williams and Major Loyd E. Williams. Graveside services with military honors will be held in the Veterans Section at Maple Grove Cemetery at 10:30 A.M, Monday April 1, 2013. In Lieu of flowers the family request memorial donation be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
