Albert "Al" Larison

Albert Preston “Al” Larison, Jr., 79 year-old Wewoka, Oklahoma resident passed from this life Sunday, January 1, 2012 at his home in Wewoka.  He was born April 26, 1932 in Hazard, Kentucky to parents Albert Preston Larison, Sr. and Molly (Childers) Larison. Mr. Larison served in the United States Army.  He later worked, as a truck driver until his retirement; he was also a member of the teamsters union. He married Ruby Catherine (Hill) Larison on April 3, 1948 in Kentucky. Al moved to Seminole County 24 years ago from California. Survivors include his wife Ruby Catherine (Hill) Larison of Seminole, Oklahoma; three sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Marcia Larison of Seminole, Oklahoma, Keith Larison of Chillicothe, Ohio, Tony and Christine Larison of Seminole, Oklahoma; two daughters and one stepdaughter, Beverly Combs of Middletown, Ohio, Connie Larison of Middletown, Ohio, Robyn and Hime Gonzalez of Lakewood, California; one brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Patricia Larison of Monroe, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends. Mr. Larison was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Peggy and Jeannie; one brother, Milford Larison; and by two stepdaughters, Donna and Kathy. Memorial services are scheduled for a later date. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
