Alan Ray Jones, 49 year-old, Seminole resident passed from this life Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Ada Retirement Center. He was born August 19, 1958 in Arlington, Texas to parents Kenneth Jones and Gail (Allen) Jones.rnrnAlan married Deborah Gayle (Monks) on October 15, 1992 in Shawnee, Oklahoma and they moved to Seminole.rnrnJones had worked as a truck driver and maintenance man for several years. He was a member of the Hill Top Freewill Baptist Church in Wewoka.rnrnSurvivors include his mother and step-father, Gail and Don Hammond of Shawnee, Oklahoma; his wife Deborah Jones of the home; four sons and four daughters, Felicia and Mark Echelle of Seminole, Oklahoma; Bill Miller of Bowlegs, Oklahoma; Paul Jones of Lawton, Oklahoma; Linda and her husband Shaun Lloyd of Seminole, Oklahoma; Carl Miller of Hawaii; Rustyn Jones of Bowlegs, Oklahoma; Jessica Jones of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Justice Jones of Bowlegs, Oklahoma.rnrnOther survivors include one brother, John Hammond of Shawnee, Oklahoma and two sisters, Jennifer Jones Anderson of Longview, Texas and Sarah Hammond of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Two grandchildren also survive, Kaden Echelle and Trevor Lloyd.rnrnAlan is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Jones.rnrnA memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Hill Top Baptist Church in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Rev. Russell Ryker officiating and Rev.
