Agnes Mocabee

Agnes M. (Hankins) Mocabee, age 88, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Monday, August 21, 2006, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark. She was born on August 27, 1917 in Konawa, OK to Oscar & Lula (Heard) Hankins.rnrnShe married Robert Mocabee on January 5, 1955 in Seminole County. They moved to Cailfornia and Agnes retired from Cutter Laboratories in Berkley after 20 years of employment. She later moved to northwest Arkansas to be close to her family. She attended the First Baptist Church in Rogers, AR. rnrnShe is survived by her two daughters, Delores Meade of Rosemead, CA and Joyce Ward of Bentonville, AR; daughter-in-law, Ruth Ward of Pea Ridge, AR; step-son, George Mocabee of Laverne, CA; one sister, Opal Head of CA; nine grandchildren, Steven Meade, Scott Meade, Sherry Abbott, Vicky Cooper, Kathy McIntosh, Gary McIntosh, Dale Ward, Bruce Ward and Marina Buttry; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.rnrnShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert; son, Ralph Ward on Sept. 1, 2005 and six brothers & sisters.rnrnFuneral services will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Konawa.
