Adam Ben Foster, age 55 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at his home. A Wake is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, and funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21st at High Springs Church in Konawa. Joe Coon will officiate and burial will follow at the Foster Family Cemetery. Casket bearers are William Foster, Stephen Dougan, Chad Foster, Cody Foster, Kacey Foster, and Chris Fixico. Honorary bearers are John Coon, Mark Factor, Larry Jesse, George Factor, Slick Factor, Tommy Gibson, R.B. Burgess, and Bondo Davis. Adam was born January 29, 1961 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Isaac Newton Foster, Sr. and Katherine (Harjo) Foster. He was a construction worker and a roughneck and was a member of the Seminole Nation. Adam loved spending time with the family (especially his grandson), and watching OU and Pittsburg Steelers football. He is survived by one son, A. J. Foster and wife, Alison of Anadarko, Oklahoma; one daughter, Chassy Foster of Konawa; five brothers, Allen Foster of Harjo, Oklahoma, Herman Foster of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Matthew Foster of Edmond, Oklahoma, Skip Foster of Wolf, Oklahoma, and Schickey Foster of Seminole; and one grandson, Adison Foster. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Katherine Foster and one sister, Mae Scott. Funeral Information: June 21, 2016, 2:00 PM
