A.C. Bundy Longtime Seminole resident A.C. Lee Bundy passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 89. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Little Cemetery with Allen Wood and David McDougal officiating. A.C. was born on June 24, 1920 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Bert and Mary E. (Brown) Bundy. He married Rena (Jackson) Bundy on May 26, 1942 in Holdenville, Oklahoma, she survives him of the home. A.C. enlisted in the United States Army in 1938 and was honorably discharged in 1946 where he earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked for C & J Trucks for 36 years as a truck driver where he retired. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church and a former American Legion Commander Post 204 where he held several offices. He also worked for the Seminole Police Department for 3 years, liked playing pool, poker, loved flowers, riding horses and taking long naps. A.C. is survived by his wife Rena Bundy of the home, son, Curtis Bundy of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, daughter, Teresa Morgan of Seminole, sister, Claudine Willis of Tulsa, Oklahoma, two granddaughters; Ashlee Gatzke of Shawnee, Lee Ann Bundy of Okmulgee and one grandson, Grant Penuel of Seminole, two great granddaughters; Abigail Gatzke and Amarie Gatzke of Shawnee. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other family and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Bert and Mary Bundy, brother, Alva Bundy, two sisters, Velma Tooley and Alene Wilson and one son, Fred Bundy. Honorary pallbearers will be: Kenny Speer III, Todd Speer, Jimmy Bundy, Gerald Pickett, Kenny Spear and Melvin Hardin.
