Lakota Leetka, age 27, passed away on March 27, 2021 in Del City, Oklahoma. She was born October 20, 1994 in Ada, Oklahoma to parents Robert James Leetka and Rebecca Jo (Paschal) Fixico. She grew up in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Lakota worked as a cashier at Dollar General. She was a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. She loved to shake shells. She enjoyed cooking and being with her family. She loved her twin boys Kendal and Karter and her brothers and sister were her favorites. The family has lots of stories from sledding down the hill in the pasture and falling to running through the woods, playing in the creek when it was raining and going swimming with her nephews and nieces.
Lakota is survived by her parents; Robert Leetka and Rebecca Fixico, her sons; Kendal Louie and Karter Louie, her brothers; Robert Fixico and his wife Marcilene, Nathaniel Leetka and his wife Melessia Leetka, Dustin Wood and Collin Wood and his sister; Ashey Leetka and Jake Dennis. She was preceded in death by Aussie Paschal, Alberto De la Rosa, Lahunta Larney, Kash Wood, Tanner Paschal and Sherry and Dwight Littlecreek.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., April 6, 2021 at Middle Creek #2 Church, near Holdenville, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Anthony Orr, Kelly Williams, Trae Johnson, Jake Dennis, Beau Lindsey, Jaelin Jones and Derek Chewey. Honorary bearers will be Robert Fixico, Nate Leetka, Dustin Wood, Collin Wood and Steve Orr.
The family is requesting memorial donations be made to Swearingen Funeral Home to help them with funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
